It works by gradually heating the dermis to a temperature that effectively damages the hair follicles, preventing them from growing back, while protecting the surrounding skin. The hair follicles are not exposed to a single pulse of high energy, which can injure the skin, but rather receive multiple, short, low energy pulses until enough heat energy is generated to damage the hair follicle.
It is relatively pain-free, suitable for all skin types and multiple treatments may be needed as it only works on hair in Anagen growth phase. Prerequisites: avoid direct sun exposure before the treatment and the hair must be very short or shaven.
Vein Removal Laser technology (sclerotherapy) is used to reduce spider veins, which can appear singly or in cluster, and small varicose veins anywhere on the face or body.
Cherry angiomas are benign tumors made from blood vessels. Spider veins or cherry angiomas are cosmetically displeasing but rarely cause medical problems.
